She needs to learn to knit without turning. That made knitting simple blankets so much faster for me.
And don’t forget the kitten videos…
If only there were a way to grow six extra arms. I know I could use them.
I just wanted to say that I discovered Knit Princess over the weekend, and read everything in the course of a day. I have become obsessed. New comics are the highlight of my week, and I’ve been looking forward to this all day.
Yeah this is going to end well. xD
I am takingsock making lessons this month, and I completed my first sock this evening! I am also reading “The Postman”, and so after much squeeing over my new sock, the conversation went like this:
Me: See,now in the postapocalyptic future I can supply everyne with socks!
Husband: Assuming you have access to a well-stocked yarn store.
Me: (pause to mentally calculate how mauch yarn I have around the house) Yeah, we pretty much have that here.
Husband: …Oh. Right.
The moral of the story is, don’t think of it as too much yarn. You are just saving up for helping humanity’s feet after the end of civilation!
Well youTube was where I learned to knit
I always direct my students to youtube when they need a refresher on how to do something. I do the same and have a crap ton of videos bookmarked and saved.
Drugs. Er… I mean, “performance enhancers”. Princess in a doping scandal?
