My cat used to pull pins out when I cut out fabric for sewing. She did that two or three times and each time she got an immediate ten minute time out locked in a dark bathroom. She stopped pretty fast.
My sisters cat did that. Was playing with a threaded needle, inhaled the damn thing, and had it come poking back out its neck. Thank god our vet had a 24 hr call number. Poor cat never sounded right again, but lived to take out rats twice her size!
