I have a question about the Lacy Scallops Hat Pattern. I cast on the 90 stitches as instructed; started the Feather/Fan Lace Pattern of two knitted rows followed by round three of k2tog 3x, (YO, K1) 6x, k2tog 3x ending w/purl row. Well when I came to the end of row three, I should have ended w/(YO, K1) but instead ended w/k2tog. When I recounted I had about 18 stitches more than when I started. My lace pattern is not working out. Please advise.
It sounds like you’re doing it right. Did you perhaps only do 3 k2togs in the middle of the pattern? Because in between the YO, K1s, you should have a total of 6 k2togs. That would explain why you’re ending up with more stitches.
